Correction Policy
Errors happen. When they do at TruHealth Labs, we correct them transparently — because reader trust depends on it.
How We Handle Corrections
Minor Corrections (typos, broken links, formatting)
Fixed silently. The article’s ‘last updated’ date is bumped if the correction is meaningful, left alone if it’s a typo.
Substantive Corrections (factual errors, wrong claims, miscited sources)
Fixed and noted. We add a ‘Correction’ or ‘Update’ note at the top of the article describing what was changed and when. Original errors are not silently overwritten on substantive issues.
Major Errors (claims we can no longer support, retracted research, safety concerns)
Fixed, prominently noted, and (when warranted) flagged in our newsletter. If a piece of advice could have caused harm, we say so directly.
How to Report a Correction
Email corrections@truhealthlabs.com or use our contact form. Please include:
- The article URL
- The specific text or claim you believe is incorrect
- Your sources or reasoning, if you have them
We respond to all correction requests within 24 hours and resolve most within 48 hours.
Why This Matters
In health content especially, accuracy is non-negotiable. A correction policy isn’t bureaucracy — it’s a public commitment that we treat reader trust as the foundation of this site.
