Editorial Policy

Editorial Policy

TruHealth Labs is a YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) content site covering health and wellness topics. We hold ourselves to high editorial standards because reader trust is the only thing that matters in this category.

Research Standards

Every health claim on this site is verified against at least one of the following sources:

  • Peer-reviewed research published in indexed journals (PubMed, NIH databases, Cochrane reviews)
  • Official guidance from established medical institutions (NIH, FDA, WHO, EFSA)
  • Textbooks and reference works by recognized experts in nutrition, herbalism, or pharmacology
  • Direct interviews with credentialed practitioners (when used, the practitioner is named and their credentials cited)

Where research is preliminary, contested, or limited, we say so. We do not present hypothesis-stage findings as established fact.

Sourcing & Citations

Articles include outbound citations to original research where applicable. We prefer linking to primary sources over secondary reporting.

Content Updates

Articles display a ‘last updated’ date. We refresh content at minimum every 12 months, more frequently when new research emerges or product information changes.

Author Standards

All articles are written by named authors with visible credentials. Anonymous publishing is not permitted on TruHealth Labs.

Affiliate & Sponsorship Independence

Editorial opinions are independent of affiliate relationships. We may earn commissions on products we recommend, but no brand pays for placement, position, or favorable coverage. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

Corrections

We take accuracy seriously. If you find an error, please contact us. Our Correction Policy describes how we handle edits, retractions, and substantial updates.
